Further demands for abolition of religious education in elementary schools, and for the banning of such teachings in the high schools, were voiced here last night at a meeting of the Board of Education of Etobicoke, a suburb of Toronto.
Appearing as individuals, and not as formal representative of their religious groups 30 parents, bearing petitions signed by 126 other individuals, told the Board that their personal religious affiliations included Unitarians, Humanists, Anglicans, United Church Quakers, Seventh Day Adventists and Jews.
