The Men’s Club of Adas Israel Congregation observed its anniversary here tonight with a banquet and entertainment which netted nearly $2,000 for the building fund for a new synagogue.
Speakers included Mayor Ellenstein, Attorney General David Wilentz, Judge Louis R. Freund of Newark and Judge Morris E. Barison of Jersey City. I. Irving Laskowitz was toastmaster and Ben Golden, president of the club, was in charge of arrangements.
