A new institute for the full-time study of Judaica, including Talmud, Jewish philosophy and Jewish history, is planned for Bar-Ilan University in Israel under the auspices of Yavneh, the National Association of Religious Jewish Students.
Henry Horowitz, the organization’s national president, said today the new Yavneh Israel Institute would be open to college students who have completed a year of college-level studies by the time the classes begin.
