The Israeli Chief of Staff, Gen. Haim Bar-Lev, will become Minister of Commerce and Industry when he gives up his military job early next year, it was reliably learned here today. He will take over the post from overburdened Finance Minister Pinhas Sapir, who has been doing double duty since the Gahal Party left the coalition government last year.
