Funeral services for Magistrate Barnet Gluckman were held here this afternoon at his residence, 401 West Twentieth street. Magistrate Gluckman had a heart attack Friday and died about two hours later.
Rabbi Bell of the Adas Ha’ Kodesch Congregation, assisted by Rabbi Tavel of the Temple of Truth, officiated at the burial ceremonies in Lombardy Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers included Governor C. Douglass Buck, Secretary of State Charles H. Grantland, former U. S. Judge Hugh M. Morris, Judge David Reinhardt, Judge Richard S. Rodney, Philip Garrett, Frank Speakman, Robert H. Richards, Edmond Heilings and Donald R. Morton.
Pallbearers were Harry Braunstein, Harry Kety, Charles W. Schagrin, Louis Rosenblatt, David L. Topkis Sr., and Barney Rish.
Mr. Gluckman was known as dean of Delaware magistrates. He took an active part in the affairs of the Jewish community here.
