A French commission which investigated the recent desecration of a mass grave of Nazi victims, mostly Jews, at Dachau, has charged that several Bavarian officials were among the Germans responsible for the desecration, it was learned here today.
The report of the commission, which included several deputies in the National Assembly, declared that the Germans were attempting to level the Latenberg Hill, near the grave site, in order to cover up and hide all traces of the Nazi crimes in this area. It is estimated that the remains of some 25,000 victims of the Germans are buried in the area.
