The German Unification Party in the Bavarian Parliament has called for abolition of denazification laws and the reinstatement of former Nazis to full citizenship rights.
During the debate, Socialist deputy Wilhelm Hoegner agreed that “a line must finally be drawn” under Germany’s past. He asserted that “liberation laws” had not cleared up the political situation in the country.
