Israeli Premier Menachem Begin has postponed his scheduled trip to Cairo from next Monday until April 9 at Egypt’s request. The Israeli Embassy, in making the announcement today said Egypt asked for the week’s postponement to allow it more time to prepare for the visit. Begin said later he still plans to address the Egyptian Parliament but did not know whether he would spend the night in Egypt. The Begin visit was originally scheduled during a meeting between Begin and Egyptian President Anwar Sadat at the Egyptian Embassy here last Sunday night. The visit is in return for Sadat’s trip to Jerusalem in November, 1977.
