Premier Menachem Begin’s health is good and he functions normally, the Premier’s Office announced today. The statement, quoting Begin’s doctors, was issued in reaction to a story in the British paper, the Evening Standard, which reportedly claimed Begin’s health has deteriorated. Begin suffered from a fever two weeks ago, and was restricted to his home for several days. Begin suffers from a heart condition and has had at least one heart attack.
