Prime Minister Theo Lefevre today talked to K.M. Roudnev, vice-president of the USSR’s Council of Ministers, on the position of the Jews in the Soviet Union and the anti-Jewish discriminators there.
Mr. Roudnev, here on an official visit, was told by the Prime Minister that he, as well as public opinion in Belgium, are concerned about the tendencies of anti-Semitism in the Soviet Union. When the Russian said he was not aware of anti-Semitic manifestations or publications in the USSR, Mr. Lefevre replied that he would furnish the Soviet leader with full documentation on the issue. It is understood that the Prime Minister last and furnished the proof to Mr. Roudnev.
