Belgium’s adherence to the American refugee proposal was announced to the Senate yesterday by Foreign Minister Paul Henri Spaak, who pointed out, however, that there could be no question of wholesale admission of foreigners to the country. The Government, he added, will examine the question of refugees in a humanitarian spirit.
