Angelo Belinfante, president of the Sephardic Jewish community of Holland, died here yesterday. He was eighty-nine years old and for the past fifty years was a high official in the Dutch Ministry of the Interior.
He was a member of the famous Belinfante family which traced its ancestry back to Joseph Cohen Belinfante, a fugitive from Portugal to Turkey in 1526.
