Histadrut General Secretary Itzhak Ben-Aharon cabled today to the secretariat of the International Free Trade Union Confederation and to the International Transport Workers Union asking them to raise their voices against the attacks on air transport and urged them to take steps to bring an end to such acts. He called on world aviation workers to make sure that passengers do not enter planes with firearms in their luggage and to pay special attention to people coming from Arab countries.
