Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion today met with the members of the Hadassah mission- -composed of about 150 Hadassah leaders- -for private discussions on a variety of issues. During the discussions, members of the mission presented the Premier with more than 30 questions on various aspects of Israeli life and the relations between Israel and the Diaspora.
Earlier, the Hadassah leaders attended ceremonies in which saplings were planted in a new Hadassah forest which will ultimately cover the hills around the new Hadassah- Hebrew University Medical Center here. The saplings will form part of a general landscaping project planned by Laurence Halprin, a San Francisco landscape architect. The project includes the planting in selected sites, of trees mentioned in the Bible.
