Premier David Ben Gurion still continue to his room in Hadassah Hospital here, began handling office details today from the bed. With his leg in a plaster cast after the removal of a grenade splinter from last week’s bombing of the Knesset, the Premier worked on state papers and received members of the Cabinet and leading officials of several ministries.
Hospital authorities ventured a guess today that the Premier would leave within the next four or five days. Moshe Carmel Minister of Transport, who suffered a broken arm in the bomb attack was slated to depart today. Minister of Religion Moshe Shapiro, the most seriously injured of five ministers, continued to make progress today.
Meanwhile Mrs. Golda Meir Foreign Minister, was confined to bed today and will be indisposed somewhat longer than previously anticipated as a result of the wounds she sustained in the bombing. She returned to the hospital yesterday for a check-up where she was ordered home and instructed to remain in bed. She was described as weakened.
