David Ben Gurion, Premier of Israel, sounded a warning to American Zionists that due to the rapid development of international events, “we may not even have the three years we had hoped for and which we so urgently needed to implement our vital schemes of immigration and development.”
This warning was contained in a message addressed by the Premier to Benjamin G. Browdy, president of the Zionist Organization of America. Mr. Browdy, at a meeting with Mr. Ben Gurion in Jerusalem last September pledged, in behalf of his organization, the sale of $100,000,000 of bonds over a period of three years.
