President Izhak Ben-Zvi today cabled Independence Day greetings to President John F. Kennedy, expressing the good wishes of the people of Israel on the occasion of the 185th anniversary of U. S. independence. The message stated in part; “In these difficult times we pray that it may be given to the statesmanship of United States leaders to maintain and strengthen peace, justice and liberty in the world. “
