Benjamin Frischwasser, secretary of the board of directors of “The Jewish Daily Forward,” Yiddish-language newspaper, died yesterday in Montefiore Hospital at the age of 73.
Mr. Frischwasser had been active for more than 50 years in the labor movement and had served as secretary of the newspaper for 29 years. He was a former vice-president of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. Mrs. Frischwasser writes a regular weekly feature for the Jewish Telegraphic Agency.
