Benjamin Netanyahu said his Likud Party was unlikely to join an Israeli government under Ehud Olmert. Netanyahu said in comments published Sunday that the diplomatic platform presented by Olmert and his Kadima Party was irreconcilable with the Likud’s views. Netanyahu, who quit the government to protest last year’s Gaza Strip withdrawal, is opposed to Olmert’s plan for further unilateral West Bank withdrawals.
