Benjamin Samuels, president of the Yellow Cab Company and prominent Jewish leader, died here yesterday after a long illness. He was 83 years old. A former international vice-president of the B’nai B’rith, Mr. Samuels was an honorary vice-chairman of the Anti-Defamation League. He was a founder of the Leo Nathan Levi Memorial Hospital in Hot Springs, Ark., and vice-chairman of the Midwest regional committee of the National Jewish Hospital of Denver.
