The death has occurred at the age of 79, of Benjamin Waldman, the father of Morris D. Waldman, Secretary of the American Jewish Committee.
The late Benjamin Waldman came to this country from Hungary fifty-four years ago. He was a member of the Oheb Zedek Congregation of New York. A man of great piety and gentleness, his death has evoked widespread regret among his wide circle of friends and the institutions with which he was connected.
He is survived by two sons and three daughters.
