The Jewish Community House of Bensonhurst, Bay Parkway and 79th Street, Brooklyn, announces a Sabbath program especially designed for the Jewish families to whom the Sabbath is now an additional day of leisure as a result of the National Recovery Act.
The institution has issued an invitation to the Jewish public to spend the Sabbath at its building, where a complete program of religious and cultural activities is to be provided throughout the day. Besides the regular services, these activities include talks by distinguished guest speakers, and social periods, with songs, lectures and discussions. The library of the institution will remain open all day on Saturday.
