The “Voelkischer Beobachter” has returned once again to the subject of the lecture delivered by Dr. Lion Feuchtwanger on February 8, at a tea given in his honor by the Jewish Telegraphic Agency.
The Nazi organ severely criticizes the German Ambassador and the German Consul-General in the United States for failing to undertake any action against the anti-Hitler propaganda contained in Feuchtwanger’s address.
The address by Feuchtwanger was on the subject of Hitler as a writer. Dr. Feuchtwanger pointed out that Hitler’s book, “Struggle,” which he asserted was replete with errors of fact and language, sold only 200,000 copies, despite an extraordinarily intense sales propaganda.
