Reports that an attempt upon the life of Aolf Hitler had been made by two disgruntled storm stroopers were denied here today.
Rumor has it that Hitler, on the night of December 31, was shot at in the Chancellory. His chauffeur, instead, received the bullets, reports declared.
Attempts have been made to tie up the alleged try at killing der Fuehrer with the Opera House meeting last Thursday of government and party leaders.
The latest rumor is the third in the past few weeks of attempts upon Hitler’s life.
