Although the University of Berlin was closed yesterday for the first time in a decade as the result of anti-Semitic student riots, Nazi students today again attacked Jewish students in the vicinity of the University. When a number of non-Jewish students sought to defend their Jewish classmates the non-Jews were also beaten up by the Fascists.
As fast as the police dispersed the Nazis they reassembled each time growing in numbers and belligerency. A final charge by a reinforced police squad swinging clubs managed to clear the streets around the University of Nazis, a number of whom were arrested.
