All existing Jewish organizations in Germany have this week been placed under a strict and direct control by the secret police in connection with the special Jewish department established here by the secret police.
Officials of that department are visiting all Jewish institutions in Berlin gathering details regarding the work of these institutions. Only the foreign Jewish organizations are excepted, especially the American Jewish organizations engaged in relief work. Even the foreign Jewish organizations are being checked over in an indirect way, although they have not been visited by the secret police officials.
