The Artists’ Aid Section of the Berlin Jewish community is issuing an art calendar for the coming Jewish year 5695, containing reproductions of work by forty Jewish painters and sculptors, accompanied by explanatory texts.
Professor Max Liebermann, the painter, who was for many years president of the German Academy of Arts, contributes an introduction. Most of the works in the calendar are reproduced for the first time, and some of them were specially commissioned for the calendar.
