Complete revision of the German criminal code in accordance with Nazi principles has been decided upon, it was announced today by Reichsminister of Justice Hans Frank, addressing a conference of experts.

The conference, which opened here last night and is to continue for one week, will revise the laws which, an official announcement said, will be published at a later date as “the basic principles of the new German criminal code.”

“The political will of the Nazi Party,” Dr. Frank told the conferees, “must find a way to make Germany’s laws free from compromise.”

The old laws, he said, must be discarded as “liberal and reactionary,” and the new general code must enter an existence based exclusively on Nazi principles.

“Nothing is to hinder the replacement of reactionary laws of the middle class by the new Nazi laws,” Dr. Frank asserted.

The conference follows a convention of jurists at which Dr. Frank mapped a six-point program aimed to eliminate the “Jewish influence” from German jurisprudence.
