Herman Bernstein has resigned as American Minister to Albania. He will return to his home in New York the latter part of September. Mr. Bernstein, noted publicist and journalist, was appointed to the post by President Hoover in 1930. It had been reported that President Roosevelt had wished to retain Mr. Bernstein as American representative at Albania although Mr. Bernstein is a Republican.
