Minorities, especially minorities in Bessarabia, cannot make any demands on the government because Roumania is a national state and those who are satisfied may remain there; others should emigrate to Russia and Palestine, declared the chief commandant of Bessarabia, General Dragu, in a lecture at Kishinev today on the subject of the Roumanian State.
In discussing General Dragu’s remarks, the Bucharest paper “Deverul” points out his incomprehensible attitude and calls upon the government to make a strong investigation to avoid a repetition of such incidents where the chief commandant discusses politics, especially politics contrary to the government’s minorities policy.
