A gift of $150,000 has been made by members of the Riesman family to the Beth Israel Hospital Development Program, it was announced today by Irving W. Rabb, chairman of the Development Committee. In accepting the gift, Mr. Rabb disclosed that a new Medical Lecture Hall and the expanded Dental Clinic will be dedicated to the Riesman family in appreciation of its efforts in behalf of the hospital. The Dental Clinic was given to the hospital by the Riesman family some years ago.
Of major importance in furthering the expansion of teaching, research, and patient care facilities, the gift is part of the total raised to date against the goal of $7,500,000 sought by the hospital. The development program will consist a construction of three new facilities and renovation of two elder buildings.
