School principals throughout the province of Thuringia were today instructed by the education authorities to remove from school premises all pictures illustrating Biblical Jewish history.
The same order advises the “widest possible use” of Der Stuermer, violent anti-Semitic weekly of which Franconia’s Governor Julius Streiche is the publisher, in religious instruction.
“By using Der Stuermer,” the order explains, “we can show our children most conclusively how Jews have remained unaltered for the last 2,000 years.”
