A quieting telegram signed by ninety-three Jews, the entire colony of Amurzet in Bidian has been received here by the Ozet in which denial is made that the Sino-Russian conflict has affected the colony.
Amurzet is so near the Manchurian border that Jewish settlers can see the Chinese. The colonists left the settlement a few days ago, fearing the warfare. Every one has now returned and is continuing the field work. “We feel calm, please do not believe rumors,” the telegram states.
