Bids for the erection of the new synagogue planned for the Congregation Agudas Achim Anshe Sphard have been asked. The building, which will cost approximately $200,000, it is said, will seat about 1,000. Plans for the proposed structure were prepared by Edwin H. C. Browne, architect, and include the completion of the synagogue, by next September. Jacob Mizen is president of the congregation.
