The Big Three’s failure to mention German Jews in their note issued yesterday, warning Gestapo men and other guards not to molest Allied war prisoners or deportees, was protested today in memorandum sent to Prime Minister Churchill by the New Zionist Organization.
It pointed out that a repetition of the warning with specifie reference to non-Allied Jews, such as “stateless” persons and Axis nationals, would relieve the anxiety felt in Jewish circles and would remove the possibility that Allied policy night be misinterpreted by the Germans.
