(Jewish Daily Bulletin)
A bill intended to facilitate the amalgamation of Jewish religious corporations, where desired, in New York State, was passed by the Assembly yesterday. It has already been passed by the Senate and now goes to Governor Smith.
The measure was drawn by Louis Marshall, one of the commission which for some years has been redrafting the code dealing with corporations. While the laws hitherto existent have defined the status of religious corporations, there was no statute particularly referring to those of the Jewish faith.
