Declaring thousands of his constituents insulted and humiliated beyond words “by the actions of the Nazi Government, Samuel Factor (Liberal, Toronto) announced in Commons today he would oppose the second reading of a bill ratifying a trade agreement with Germany.
“The German Government has seen fit to heap calumny and abuse upon the members of a historic race the world over,” Mr. Factor told the House.
