A bill to provide relief for non-Sunday Sabbath observers has been introduced in the Maryland General Assembly today. Under provisions of the proposed legislation, Sunday work would be permitted for those who observe another day as their Sabbath provided they file an affidavit stating that their business will remain closed on their own Sabbath day.
