A bill to practically abolish the existing numerus clausus law in Hungary is now being prepared by the Hungarian Minister of Education, according to a report of the “Magyar Orszag.”
The numerus clausus law, which limits the number of Jewish students in the Hungarian Universities, has been in force for several years. At the last session of the Council of the League of Nations, Count Klebelsberg, the Minister of Education, pledged the Hungarian government to abolish this law when the situation in the country changes.
