Two of the three assailants who attacked the car of Bishop Mclnnes last May, killing the driver and injuring one of the women passengers, were sentenced to death by the Jerusalem court to-day. The third received a sentence of fifteen years penal servitude.
The widow of the driver who was killed was awarded $1,250.
The attack on the Bishop’s automobile was made on May 5, on the read nineteen miles from Jerusalem. All the valuables carried by the members of the party were taken.
