The overdoing of grain collection and enforced collectivization by the Jewish Communists is blamed for the lack of seeds in the Kalinindorf region, thus making it impossible for the colonists to start their Spring sowing. The Jewish colonists in the region submitted all of their bread reserves to the government last Fall during the grain collections and now they are without seeds. A serious situation has arisen because the entire region has only 51,000 puds of seeds instead of the 104,000 puds that it needs.
