Jacob Blaustein, president of the American Jewish Committee, had a half-hour private conference at the White House today with President Truman. Mr. Blaustein stated that several broad subjects were discussed, including the economic and arms situation in the Middle East, as well as the McCarran-Walter Immigration Act and the implementation of the report of the President’s Commission on Immigration and Naturalization.
