Bloch Impresses Italy

Ernst Bloch, famous Jewish French composer, has made a considerable impression in Italy, according to the Italian press, which is praising him very highly for his most recent compositions, played at Torino.

Bloch came to Italy personally to conduct his “Sacred Service”, a symphony of Jewish liturgy, and a composition called “Salomon and Israel.”
