John Bloom, seventy-four, passed away this week. He was a Jewish pioneer resident of this city.
Mr. Bloom, who was born in Rumania came to Minneapolis forty-seven years ago. He is survived by two sons, Edward Bloom of Bismarck, N. D., and Harry Bloom of Minneapolis, and four daughters, Mrs. A. Martin, Mrs. S. Becker and Mrs. Ben Smith of Minneapolis, and Mrs. Morris Weiner of St. Paul.
