Yehuda Blum, Israel’s UN Ambassador, expressed strong objections at a press conference here yesterday, to the publication of a UN study entitled “The Origin and Evolution of the Palestine Problem.” The study was sponsored by the Committee for the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People, an anti-Israel body which serves the goals of the PLO. Blum referred to distortions of historical facts in the study and said that “even the most cursory reading of this document can leave no doubt that the means and machinery of the UN has been misused to disseminate highly selective and tendentious information.”
