Mayor LaGuardia yesterday announced the appointment of Robert E. Blum, vice-president of Abraham and Strauss, Brooklyn department store, as a trustee of the Brooklyn Public Library for a five-year term. At the same time the Mayor announced the reappointment of the board of trustees of Dr. Alexander Lyons, Rabbi Emeritus of the Eighth Avenue Temple in Brooklyn.
