B’nai B’rith, the largest Jewish fraternal organization in the world, will be 113 years old on Saturday, October 13. The organization, which now comprises some 400,000 members, carries on a program of educational, philanthropic and community service activities on which it has expended almost $60 million in the past three years. Organized in 1750 lodges and chapters in the United States, B’nai B’rith also has units in 31 other countries throughout the world.
