A gift of $10,000 to erect, an educational building at Camp Borden, one of Canada’s largest training camps, was approved last night by delegates attending the convention of District Grand Lodge No. 1 of the B’nai B’rith, which takes in New York State, all of New England and eastern Canada.
Marcus L. Sperber, a Jewish leader of this city, was elected President of the Grand Lodge by the assembled delegates. Other officers elected include. first vice-president, Myron Sulzberger of New York, second vice-pres., Benjamin D. Resiman of Buffalo, third vice-pres., Abraham Govsky of Beverly, Mass., secretary, Lawrence White of New Haven and treasurer, William Ather of New York.
