B’nai B’rith has given mobile disaster units to the American Red Cross and to the Salvation Army to help them cope with relief needs of Hurricane Camille in the Gulf coast area, George Mitchell, chairman of the B’nai B’rith Camille Disaster Fund, announced today.
The unit given the Red Cross is a multi-disaster unit. That given the Salvation Army is a mobile fold dispensing unit. A special campaign has been launched among B’nai B’rith members of the Seventh District, which includes the stricken area, for funds to assist the storm victims.
