Procedures for the allocation of West German restitution funds awarded it last year and plans to inaugurate international B’nai B’rith offices in Europe, Israel and Latin America, will be considered by the B’nai B’rith International Council at its initial meeting in Amsterdam January 26-27.
The Council, headed by Philip Klutznick and representing B’nai B’rith constituencies in 37 countries, will also review reports by an Anti-Defamation League study team now in West Germany.
B’nal B’rith also announced that construction will start on a B’nai B’rith House in Tel Aviv next week. Label A. Kats, president of the organisation, Ogden Reid, Jr., United States Ambassador to Israel and Israeli Government officials will participate in cornerstone exercises January 20 for the $350, 000 modern styled structure.
